He
came to us

He came to us, a babe in a stable;
The kings and shepherds knealt at His feet.
The heavens opened up, and the beautiful
Angels sang His praises sweet.
He walked the earth for thirty-three years,
And he taught us all the lesson of love.
He always said that all of the power in Him
Came from God above.
But some of the people hated Him,
And, blinded by their own sin,
They nailed Him upon a cross and thought
He'd never come again.
But then, somehow, a miracle happened,
He left the earth and rose to the sky.
And that is why when I see a beautiful cloud—
Why, I laugh, and I cry.
He lives with you and me in our hearts.
He lives with you and me in our
hearts.
He lives, He lives, He lives in our hearts,
And soon my friend, he'll come, he'll come.
