I've come to lead you to the light;
the light that shines out of the dirt beneath your feet.
Come to the feast.
A feast that's hidden from your sight,
But you can have it, all of you,
Even the least of you.

There was a time when we were closer to the earth,
When we were closer to the unity beyond all death and birth,
A time when loving people all could celebrate the seasons,
And they didn't need their reasons,
They just knew what they were worth.
I'll tell you it's coming back,
For soon we will break the backs of the bureaucratic insti-
tutions that just keep us chained in slavery to money,
So we never taste the honey flowing from the cosmic crack.

I've come to show you to a vision;
It's a vision that's enveloping this planet.
Look to the East
And overcome your indecision.
Find that new, transforming fire
And start to fan it, too.

There'll be a time when we'll control reality,
And we'll do it for the benefit of all humanity,
A time when loving people really all become connected
By a web that is affected
By the beating of each heart.
I'll tell you it's coming soon,
The union of sun and moon in an integrated human
Race freed from the bondage of a world enslaved by power.
We'll be living in the tower growing from the cosmic crack.
