I awoke this morn from a magic dream
With a smile upon my face.
I had seen this planet veiled in white
As it sailed through time and
space,
With a rainbow wrapped around it,
Just as wide as it was long,
And the people had laid down their arms
And raised their voice in song.
We are all connected by a force that's centered in our hearts.
We are all protected by a voice that leads us all from start to finish.
We are all projected by a light that shines from out our brow,
So let's feel this love, this protecting love;
Let this light shine through
you just now.
So I jumped up from my reverie,
And I strode into the sunlight,
And resolved to bring upon this earth
What my dreams had just begun.
I would reach out to the people,
And to them this message bring:
We can live in peace
If we will open up our hearts and sing.
We are all connected by a force that's centered in our hearts.
We are all protected by a voice that leads us all from start to finish.
We are all projected by a light that shines from out our brow,
So let's feel this love, this protecting love;
