We are the rainbows

© 1987 by Jim Andris as performed by my brother, Tom Andris

Centers of energy spin in me.
Ruby red flower at the root of me,
My kundalini begins in me,
Rising and stilling my fears.

Gold-orange sunsets are glistening
While for my chakras I'm listening.
Daisy ideas I am christening,
Gently dissolving my tears, and

We are the rainbows,
The rainbows of this earth,
From Beijing down to Capetown,
From Reykjavik to Perth,
The parts make up the whole,
And yet, the whole is in each part.
In the center of each rainbow
Lies an open human heart.

Emerald green center of lovliness,
All true forgiveness within you rests.
Blue-green vibrations that fill my chest
Spill from my lips to your ears.

Indigo ajna between my eyes,
All human wisdom behind you lies.
Violet beams from my crown arise—
Make my life crystalline clear, and

We are the rainbows,
The rainbows of this earth,
From Beijing down to Capetown,
From Reykjavik to Perth,
The parts make up the whole,
And yet, the whole is in each part.
In the center of each rainbow
Lies an open human heart.
