Someone

Lyrics

I've spent a lifetime searching for someone,
Someone who's just the one for me.
And in this lifetime I've had some good times
And times when tears have blinded me.
But now I find that I am counting up the years
When no one stayed throughout the gladness and the tears.
I just don't know if it was them or it was me,
But finding fault is such a bore;
It doesn't matter anymore.

So if you're someone searching for someone,
And you've not found your someone, too.
Let's get together. We'll have some good times,
And there'll be times when we are blue.
And I won't bore you with the details of my past.
I'll never promise you that our affair will last,
But if you'll let me be myself,
I'll do the same for you.
And if we stay together for a time, we'll have a clue
That that someone who's just the one for me
Has found his someone, too.
Has found his someone, too.
