You've
got your opinions and I've got mine

You've got your opinions and I've got mine.
I see it as science and not design.
We neither can prove it,
So why don't you move it along.
Do I bug you?
If I were to do what you want me to,
You've prove to yourself what you thought you knew.
By my noncompliance,
I show you're reliance is wrong.
You look around you in wonder;
Everything seems to be planned.
To me that's unbearable;
Life's not a parable,
Life is incredibly grand.
So shore up your churches and pad your knees;
I'll play my own card game the way I please.
And deuces are wild
Is the mark of a child playing cards.
Give God my regards.
I woke up this morning and looked out there

I woke up this morning and looked out there.
Something had laid my perception bare.
Music was in the air;
Colors were everywhere.
Can't you see them?
If things are just color and sound and feel.
Might'nt it be then that chords are real?
Music can cause a tear
Real as the words
That we hear.
I look around me in wonder;
Everything seems to be changed.
Each thing's a color cell;
I can see nothing else;
Things are just colors arranged.
Now I don't know how things appear to you,
But this much I've got to get clear to you:
You've got to realize
You have a pair of eyes, too.
Learn to use them true.
