Alright. For twenty three years as you notice on the program, this is a concert devoted to Adrienne Rae. Adrienne is a pseudonym that I use when I'm doing gay activist work while being in the closet. I have done it without being in the closet, in which case I use my regular name. So for twenty three years I trained for life in the mainstream, and then things occurred as they do. I found that I was more or less into a new and different lifestyle. So this song, Genesis, suggests to me birth, growing, awakening. So that's the first song here. |
