Everyone's a Miracle

The miracle of the new born need not diminished with the passage of time …

© Glenda Dilley/Cea Hearth, November, 1978

Ok, in the Fall of 1978, I started being a professional person again, and I was glad. This next song is a song that I wrote for the first student after I hadn't had any students in a long time, and that was as it is

Everyone's a miracle—you and me
A little spark of God, don't you see?
Housed in different colors
Housed in different bodies
Housed in different ages
Just like you and me
I want to thank you for showing
Your miracle to me

The mother and the father in our minds
Are shifting and they're changing over time
Coming different mothers
Coming different fathers
Coming and becoming
Love is coming all the time
It may not come exactly how we want it
But look around and love you will find.

Everyone's a miracle—you and me
A fraction of the Goddess, don't you see?
Housed in different colors
Housed in different bodies
Housed in different ages
Just like you and me
I want to thank you for showing
Your miracle to me
