My First Song

My first song, at age seventeen, was a heterosexual song. I'm going to sing it to you, but not because I'm particularly proud of it. It does have a nice melody. The lyrics of this song tell on me. I wonder how many straight songs of unrequited love are really psychological adjustments to a tight-fitting closet? I know this one was. Here it is.
